What is included in the rental?
Your $100 service package covers gas, insurance, and cleaning. Safety equipment and a pre-departure orientation are also included.
Can I hire a captain?
Yes. An experienced captain can be added for $50 per rental hour. We can accommodate up to two captained rentals at the same time, subject to availability.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 72 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before departure receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are nonrefundable. If Marco Island Boat Rentals determines conditions are unsafe for boating, we will reschedule your rental or issue a refund.
Who can rent and operate a boat?
The minimum rental age is 21. In Florida, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 who operates a motorboat of 10 HP or more must complete an approved boating-safety course and carry a Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card or other accepted proof.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your boat is reserved immediately after full payment is completed securely through Square. Sales tax is calculated using the current rate configured in our Square account.
What are your seasonal hours?
Summer hours are 9 AM–6 PM and winter hours are 9 AM–5 PM. The season changes automatically with the U.S. daylight-saving schedule.
